The HUD ACE (Accredited Compliance Expert) Exam is US Housing Consultants premier designation created to assess participant knowledge of the HUD multifamily housing program. Successfully passing this exam demonstrates a strong understanding of program rules, including required compliance and operational standards.
Earning this designation confirms your expertise, enhances your professional credentials, and establishes you as a trusted resource within the affordable housing industry.
This exam is intended for first time test takers only. To be eligible, participants must have completed one of the US Housing Consultants certification courses within the past six (6) months. If you have previously taken the course and did not pass the exam, you will need to register for the retake exam instead.
Please review the following exam details:
- Exams may be completed on the test taker’s own schedule or according to direction from their company or supervisor. US Housing Consultants does not require a specific completion deadline.
- The exam consists of 80 questions. To earn the designation, participants must achieve a score of 80% or higher.
- The exam is open book and timed. Test takers will have three (3) hours to complete the exam once they begin.
- Test takers are not allowed to take screenshots of any portion of the exam at any time during testing.
- Individuals who pass will receive a PDF certificate. If a test taker does not earn a passing score of 80%, they may choose to take the exam again through US Housing Consultants for an additional fee.
